French Manicures Are Back! Here’s The New Way To Wear It Now

If we will think of one classic nail polish, it would none other than be the french mani. For some of us, it’s the nail art we gave a test run a few years ago, and haven’t looked back—until now. This season brings in its recent incarnations that prove that the minimalist nail art can be equally playful and thoroughly grown-up. Leave the basic, white-tipped nails at the door–we’re here to add glitter and geometric twists to the french mani.

Need proof? Check out these Instagram-ready nails:

1. Reverse-French Nails

For a refreshing take, keep the crisp line at the bottom of your nails. Start with the base coat of either a metallic or a glittery polish. Next, paint the contrasting shade (in this case, it’s the nude polish) but leave a few spaces away from the nail bed.

2. Double-ended

When in doubt, take the french mani to the cool territory by keeping the classic white tip, while adding a white half-moon at the nail bed.

3. Non-Boring Tips

Forget white–switch things up with black, metallics, and brights. It adds spice to the classic mani, while maintaining its chic feel.
