Manila Fashion Festival’s momentum—thought to be unshakable and unstoppable—might have been put to the test, but boy did it surpass expectations. Even as Art Personas parted ways with Green Sun, a partnership that leveraged the biggest Philippine fashion event of the year, it continued to raise the bar, propelling its seasoned talents forward; and there’s no looking back here.

Adoring fashion spectators flocked to the Marquee at EDSA Shangri-la Hotel for the 4-day event and got their fill of future trends and what the brightest talents in the local fashion scene have to offer.

While models and designers naturally emerged onto the runway poised, cool and put together with not a hair out of place, there’s no describing the kind of organized, well-orchestrated chaos that happens backstage at a fashion show. Thankfully, when words don’t quite suffice, there are photos to do the storytelling.

Here’s what happened behind-the-scenes at Manila Fashion Festival Fall/Winter 2016 Day 1 with Zalora, Mark Tamayo, Anthony Ramirez, Mark Bumgarner, Cheetah Rivera and Rhett Eala.
