The Los Angeles Lakers remain winless after LeBron James missed their winning shot over the San Antonio Spurs in an overtime game.
The team was shorthanded after the suspension of Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram in their Los Angeles Lakers’ vs. Houston Rockets game.
The Lakers fans thought the victory would be theirs when James scored a three-pointer with three seconds remaining in regulation.
However, the Lakers were denied of their victory when Spurs guard Patty Mills made a jump-shot with seven seconds remaining on the clock owning the lead with 143-142.
After a timeout, all the pressure was on James when he took the lead. However, he missed the shot and this lead San Antonio Spurs to victory.
In an interview after the game, James said that his failure on the last game was unacceptable. “We were up six with less than a minute to go. Just couldn’t get a stop, and we had a turnover in that minute, Rudy hit a big shot. I missed two free throws, which is unacceptable,”
